H&S Website Project Process

As an H&S staff or faculty member, you have several options to choose from when it comes to website platforms. You can review those options on the Website Platform page

This page refers to projects on the H&S Drupal Platform (HSDP).

Project Process

Discovery

The first step in determining how a new website or a website redesign would best suit your needs is an initial Web Project Consultation. During this meeting, we will listen to your pain points and wish list items. From there we will recommend a path forward.

If you decide to move forward with a new website or a website redesign project, we will schedule a series of subsequent discovery meetings to dive deeper into each section of your site.

Implementation

We mostly build new sites for H&S units on a shared Drupal platform. A few benefits of working with us to help you redesign your website include:

  • Our ability to respond quickly to your needs
  • Integration with campus resources such as Explore Courses and events.stanford.edu
  • Expert project management
  • Expert consultation on content strategy and information architecture
  • Training and information sharing
  • Quality assurance
  • Advocating and investing in large initiatives
  • Free for H&S core units
  • Compliance with branding and accessibility policies
  • Integrated support and security

Support

Even after we launch your site, our team remains dedicated to supporting you. Whether a webform malfunctions or a page goes missing, we're here to help you with all your website-related needs.
