HSCRM - H&S Community Relationship Management

Are you tired of your contact data being stored across multiple unorganized spreadsheets with duplicate entries, confused about how to access and efficiently use that data, and worried about where sensitive contact information is stored? Do you have time to address any of these needs and concerns on an ongoing basis? 

H&S IT offers the H&S Community Relationship Management (HSCRM) service with an aim to meet community and constituent engagement needs of H&S Units.

The HSCRM service is offered via the Salesforce CRM platform, and is used by H&S departments, programs, and dean's office functional groups to collect information about their respective communities. HSCRM helps promote engagement with alumni, students, faculty, staff, partners and event attendees through key features such as contact organization, newsletter management, and ad hoc reporting.

    • Stewardship acknowledgement, when applicable

    • Interest areas and subscriptions for targeted email engagement

    • Alumni cohorts to invite to reunion events
    • Community members to visit within a zip code radius 
    • Collect data at a single point in time for research

HSCRM License Overview

Departments/Programs are responsible for their annual license subscription costs. H&S IT renews the licenses for the fiscal year and a transactional chargeback occurs in July, prior to fiscal year close.

For ease of reference, Salesforce licenses for HSCRM are addressed as:

  • Platform Licenses - HSCRM Users
  • Enterprise Licenses - HSCRM Power Users

A typical Department/Program has at least one HSCRM Power User, with the majority using HSCRM User licenses. For further details about the differences in license types, see the table below.
