As you may already know, H&S IT is offering FREE A/V support to any department-managed seminar and conference rooms in Humanities and Sciences.
Our goal is to maintain the space through a support model which allows for routine maintenance, timely replacements/repairs, and quick, on-site support when needed.
H&S IT collaborates with Stanford Computer Resource Consulting (CRC) to implement the CRC Room Support Program, which is designed to prevent and resolve issues with A/V equipment in conference rooms, and shared spaces at Stanford.
The service includes in-room documentation detailing the equipment, on-demand pre-meeting consultation, and quick response remote support when incidents occur. CRC provides documentation and general upkeep of the technology in the room. Our program includes three pre-meeting consultations or in-meeting escalations per month, per room.
Urgent support is available via a phone number that connects to CRC technicians during regular business hours, 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday. Departments and programs should submit non-urgent support requests via a ServiceNow ticket.
Rooms managed by the Registrar’s Office are not eligible for our program.
Please contact Dustin Liang if you are interested in taking advantage of our room support service.
We also provide room refresh services in collaboration with HSDO Facilities. We will update the audio/visual and, in some cases, furniture if needed. These services are complimentary, under two conditions:
1. You agree to share your room with other departments and programs across the school
2. You attempt to use 25Live as your primary resource scheduling tool
